Our 2023 Chardonnay was handpicked on March 9, 2023, pressed and floated off solids, then transferred to French oak barriques (30% new) for wild fermentation. 20% secondary malolactic fermentation and occasional battonage over nine months before racking and bottling in January 2024.

VINTAGE NOTES
The 2023 vintage was marked by challenging cool and wet conditions over Spring, with regular rains producing lower yields than normal. An extended growing season evolved into warm and dry weather in late summer, preserving natural acidity whilst adding flavour and complexity to our maturing fruit.

TASTING NOTES
Aromas of grapefruit, lemon curd with crunchy pear and riper citrus notes, leading to subtle nuttiness, vanilla driven by crisp acidity of white stone fruits and spice on the palate.
