Our 2023 Cabernet Franc was hand harvested on 10 April 2023, destemmed whole berries were soaked in open-top fermenters for five days and fermented over eight days. Matured in aged oak barriques and hog head barrels for ten months before racking and bottling in February 2024.

VINTAGE NOTES
The 2023 vintage was marked by challenging cool and wet conditions over Spring, with regular rains producing lower yields than normal. An extended growing season evolved into warm and dry weather in late summer, preserving natural acidity whilst adding flavour and complexity to our maturing fruit.

TASTING NOTES
Aromatic freshly cut violets, roses and red berries with hints of dried herbs develop into a medium-bodied dark red fruits with fine acid and tannins.
